House of Refuge Expands Executive Team, Appoints Ed Knight Chief Operating Officer
Mesa, Arizona July 25, 2018-House of Refuge is pleased to announce the appointment of Ed Knight, J.D., to the role of Chief Operating Officer. With extensive management and non-profit experience, Knight brings valuable leadership and knowledge to the executive team and Board of Directors.
“Ed is highly respected in the nonprofit field due to his prior work with the Arizona Community Foundation, A New Leaf and others,” said Nancy Marion, House of Refuge’s Executive Director. “Within a few short days, Ed has already begun to prove why his skill sets are such a valuable asset in the continuance of the programming that is offered to homeless families in Arizona through the House of Refuge.”
Knight earned his Juris Doctorate from ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, as well as receiving his B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University. He is a board member of Feeding Matters, Inc., and the Musculoskeletal Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation, and serves as a professional advisory council member for Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center.
