“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is,
What are you doing for others?” – Dr. Martin Luther King
I have asked this question of the community before, “What are you doing for others?” Well let me tell you … you are changing lives.
Many families come to House of Refuge with little more than a fragile shred of hope remaining. Because of YOUR consistent generosity we are able to supply them a safe home in a dignified neighborhood, a table for the family to sit around with food to eat, and faith that with hard work a new life is within their grasp. On behalf of every courageous family that has ever embarked on this journey, THANK YOU for your support and belief in them.
This month, with the help of Jay and Rebecca Feely, we are KICKING OFF our Adopt-a-Home Initiative. This is an outstanding way the community can get involved in “helping others.” With your support we can continue to offer life changing, direct client services to every family that enters our program. Please take the time right now and go to www.houseofrefuge.org to see the list of our current Adopt-a-Home
Members and see how you can join them to change the life of a family. Thank you!
Sincerely, Nancy Marion, Executive Director
