Employment & Education Center hosts Open House

Debbie, our Education & Employment Specialist, hosted an open house last week for residents and introduced them to the wealth of information and services available at the EEC. Attendees had the opportunity to sign up for workshops and meet with Debbie to discuss education goals, employment, wage increase opportunities and more. Debbie also discussed her role as liaison between the school districts and our residents. This is just one of the many “wrap-around” services that our residents receive at House of Refuge that will help them become self-sufficient and move to sustainable housing. Thanks, Debbie and the volunteer staff in the EEC for all you do!
