A SPECIAL HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION FOR RESIDENTS

The families in our neighborhood had several Halloween-themed events leading up to the “big day,” all thanks to the wonderful members of Christ’s Church of the Valley. A couple of weeks before Halloween, CCV members decorated Trick or Treat bags with the children in our Community Center. The Friday before Halloween, CCV members organized an entire “Trunk or Treating” event in our community. Members decorated their car trunks and filled them with candy, served dinner to our residents and even had a “costume shop” where the children could pick out a Halloween costume. We cannot thank Christ’s Church of the Valley enough for making such a fun, anticipated holiday even more fun and eventful for the children at House of Refuge.
