Paint-a-thon Event HomeAid Phoenix in partnership with the Valley’s national and regional home builders, local non-profit organizations and community leaders, HomeAid builds and improves housing and programmatic for those at risk and experiencing homelessness. On November 4, 2022 over 100 volunteers came together to paint 13 homes at House of Refuge, Mesa AZ.
'Giving machines' return to Valley for fifth year ‘Giving Machines’ are back for another year. Grant Helps House of Refuge Support Homeless Teens Mesa-based House of Refuge, Inc. received a $30,000 grant from the Donald C. Brace Foundation to support the nonprofit’s life-changing work with homeless teens and their families. Ongoing research shows that the trauma of homelessness and the complex circumstances that lead to it can have a devastating impact
